Airline Suppliers
Funjet Vacations sells both charter program flights and scheduled commercial flights along with our hotel accommodations and transportation. By offering travel options on chartered and scheduled airlines, Funjet Vacations accommodates your needs and makes planning your vacation easy.

Charter Airfare
Funjet Vacations isn't an airline and we don't own any planes. We contract with charter airlines for the use of their aircraft to various destinations. We provide the passengers and the airline provides everything else that goes with your flight. Because we contract in large volumes, we are able to pass significant savings on to you. Many of the planes we lease will have the Funjet Vacations name on them. The difference between a "scheduled" flight and a charter flight is that charter flights are scheduled on certain days each week and may not depart every day as scheduled airlines do. An example of a charter pattern is Thursday/Sunday, which departs Thursday and comes home Sunday. The same passengers go and return together on the same aircraft and everyone on the plane is on vacation. Typically, most charter flights are nonstop so you get to your destination much faster giving you more time to enjoy your vacation. Charter flights adhere to the same stringent safety standards as commercial airlines (such as American, Continental, and the other major carriers).

For lower fares, nonstop flights and great value, Funjet Vacations offers charter flights with ATA Airlines, Ryan International Airlines, Trans Meridian Airlines, Midwest Airlines, and Southwest Airlines. Each of these airlines has a superior reputation for safety, reliability and friendly service, complemented with fleets that are among the most reliable and most well maintained in the industry. The charter airlines we deal with use various types of aircraft including mostly 737's, 757's, and A320's which seat approximately 170-210 passengers depending upon plane type.

New Planes! Not Your Typical Charter Airplanes
Many of our airline carriers have newer state-of-the-art, more fuel efficient fleet which allows us to lower our fuel costs and pass the savings on to you. On average, these Boeing 737-800, B757 and A320 planes have a seat pitch of 31", which means more legroom and more comfort when you are traveling. Wide, comfortable seats are arranged three across on both sides of the aisle on these aircraft, and coupled with our unparalleled service, you will enjoy a fun-filled vacation!
